You manage your subscription in the app, on Workspace Settings > Billing. Workspace owners and admins can change, pause, or cancel the plan. Members see a note with the owner’s email address, so they know who to ask.

Change your plan

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Billing.
  2. Choose Change Plan to upgrade or downgrade.
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades are scheduled and take effect at the end of your current billing period. If you pay in euros, choose Contact Support instead, and we change the plan for you.
If you are on a legacy plan (subscribed before 2026), changing plans switches you to the current plan lineup. You cannot return to a legacy plan afterwards.
While a cancellation or a pause is active, you cannot change plans. Resume the subscription first.

Cancel your subscription

  1. Go to Workspace Settings > Billing.
  2. Choose Cancel subscription.
  3. Answer the questions, or skip them. Every question is optional, and Cancel now cancels at any step.
What happens when you cancel:
  • Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. On an annual plan, that is the end of the paid year. You can keep generating documents until then, and we do not charge you again.
  • Until that date, Resume subscription on the Billing page undoes the cancellation.
  • Nothing is deleted. Your automations, templates, and settings are kept, so you can resubscribe later and pick up where you left off.
  • After the period ends, your workspace returns to free test mode: document generation keeps working for testing, but documents carry a watermark and live generation is paused.
If a payment is overdue when you cancel, your plan ends at once and we cancel the unpaid invoice. You cannot resume the subscription afterwards.

Pause instead of cancelling

Monthly plans can pause for 1 to 3 months instead of cancelling. The cancel flow shows this option when you say that you need DocsAutomator only for part of the year, or that you no longer need it. During a pause:
  • We do not charge you.
  • Your automations stay as they are.
  • Live documents are not created. Test documents still work.
  • Billing starts again on its own when the pause ends.
To end the pause early, choose Resume now on the Billing page. Live documents work again at once. A pause is not available on annual plans, while a payment is overdue, while a downgrade is scheduled, or while documents above your plan’s allowance wait to be billed.

Payment method, billing address, and invoices

Choose Manage Billing on the Billing page to open the billing portal. There you can:
  • Update your payment method
  • Change your billing address
  • View and download past invoices
Plan changes and cancellations happen on the Billing page, not in the billing portal.

Delete your workspace or account

Cancelling does not delete your data. If you want your data removed as well, see Delete Your Account & Data. Note that a workspace can only be deleted after the subscription cancellation has taken effect.
